For large swathes of this match, the tourists were in complete command. Despite being bowled out for 179 on day one, Tim Paine’s side took a lead of 112 into the second innings after skittling England for 67 - the hosts’ lowest Ashes total since 1948.
Marnus Labuschagne top scored with 80 in the second innings, as Australia set Joe Root’s side 359 to level the series.
