Jofra Archer's Rajasthan Royals have continued to impress in the early exchanges of the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League, with the games coming thick and fast since our last update on the 4CAST athletes at the tournament.
Jofra's Royals sit second in the table, chasing reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the race for the top spot, after an impressive run of results. Their win over Jos Buttler's Gujarat Titans (by just six runs), was followed up by a victory over Mumbai Indians, in which Archer managed one wicket and a run out to help tip the balance. He then contributed two more wickets in a six wicket win over league leaders RCB, as Rajasthan won by six wickets. He also recorded another two wickets in their only defeat so far, at the hands of Liam Livingstone's Sunrisers Hyderabad, though Livi was unused in that fixture.
Unfortunately that's been the case for Liam so far in the early stages of the tournament, yet to get a chance to exert himself as Sunrisers have made a solid, if unspectacular, start.
Jos Buttler and KL Rahul have both featured regularly for their sides, Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals, respectively, with the pair starring when the two sides met. KL scored a massive 92 runs before being caught by Jos (52 runs) as the England man's side won by a single run!
All four sides will be in action over the coming weekend.
