A star-studded crowd came together at Red Bull headquarters in London to mark the launch of the Players Fund.
Athletes from the 4CAST collective, including Ben Stokes, Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone and Jason Roy, were joined by fellow England cricketers Joe Root and Zak Crawley, plus former Test captain Michael Vaughan.
Hosted by Fergus and Ruari Bell, managing partners at The Players Fund, and 4CAST founder Mike Turns, the event brought together influential figures from business and sports to celebrate their plans to launch a £40 million fund to invest in digital-first, consumer-facing sectors.
The Players Fund is a new frontier in venture capital and will empower the athlete community as investors, as part of a wider strategy to help athletes thrive in all aspects of their lives, both on and off the field and after their careers conclude.
