"I've certainly had to be a lot smarter as my career has gone on." - Jason Roy
One of the challenges an international cricketer faces is getting their fuel on point at exactly the right time.
If you're playing in a Test match, you're likely to start late morning. But a T20 match might not begin until the evening.
Throw in the complexities of different formats and a cricketer has to tread a fine line between eating enough and actually fuelling properly.
Jason Roy knows this as much as anyone, and he says it's easy to get things wrong - especially early in your career.

"I think there's a huge difference between eating enough and overeating," he told The Edge.
"Especially with where I'm at in my career at the moment, I have mainly T20 fixtures, so you've got all day before your match starts.
"I wake up in the morning, I might do some recovery, might do some prep work physically and then I've got all day. My game's only at 7 pm, let's just say, so it's making sure that I'm structuring my day right.
"I'll have days where we'll go out for a lunch and we'll have a monster lunch. We'll just like, say we're in South Africa, in Cape Town, whatever... we have a steak and we kind of go to town on our lunch and we get to the game and feel heavy, lethargic.
"You lose a bit of that buzz, and certainly on days where you go a bit cleaner and you have a smaller lunch and then you have a small little snack before the game, you really do notice it. I mean, personally, I feel a huge boost. But yeah, there is a big difference."

Experience teaches you so much in elite sport and Jason has certainly noticed a change in what his body needs as his career has evolved.
"Yes, I've noticed a big difference, especially over the last six years after having kids," he said.
"Those early mornings, early starts, maybe slightly less sleep, I'd have to be smarter with my recovery, whether it's in a pool, sauna, stretching, whatever it might be.
"But I've certainly had to be a lot smarter as my career has gone on. A few niggles creep in as you get older. Your body's a bit more tired, it takes a little bit longer to recover. But generally speaking, touch wood I have been pretty lucky with that sort of stuff.
"But also I think that the education around nutrition, the nutrition itself, the education around your physical well-being, your mental well-being, is so much more accessible now.
"There are so many more platforms now for you to educate yourself on, and especially around nutrition. And I think going forward now for the rest of my career, I think that's vitally important. I think the nutrition side of things is huge."
