A new collaboration announced by VistaJet - one of the world’s leading private aviation companies — has put sleep quality for high-performance travellers firmly in the spotlight.

The headline: VistaJet has launched a scientifically designed sleep programme to help athletes, business leaders and frequent travellers arrive recovered rather than exhausted.

Their offering includes cabin environment optimisation, sleep-friendly lighting, wearable data tracking, tailored bedding and pre-flight sleep coaching.

Long-haul travel is one of the biggest disruptors of recovery - affecting hormones, coordination, reaction time, and sleep architecture for up to three days after landing.

Sports physiologist Dr. Jonathan Leeder, from Loughborough University, has studied athlete jet lag for over a decade.
