BIO
Chris Hughes is a television presenter and personality.
After finding fame as a contestant on the third series of Love Island, in which he placed third in 2017, Hughes continued to hone his skills in front of camera but he has horse racing to thank for his big break at ITV.
A talented jockey who has been involved in racing since he was 11 years old, he rode in York's Macmillan charity race for Coral in June 2018 and appeared on The Opening Show to preview the race.
Engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining, Hughes was called back for the Cheltenham edition on the Thursday of festival week, where he joined the Social Stable for the very first time.
After watching him strike up seamless on-screen partnerships with broadcasters Oli Bell and Matt Chapman, ITV offered Hughes a permanent role and he has not looked back since.
An ambassador for Coral with an impressive social following, Chris has also presented The Hundred for Sky Sports and in 2020 presented Me, My Brother and Our Balls, a BBC documentary exploring male fertility.
