Jofra Archer has a real passion for gaming and content creation at 4CAST.

One of the most explosive fast bowlers England has produced, the right-armer burst onto the scene in T20 franchise cricket to earn a World Cup call-up in 2019 - and he certainly delivered.

Archer was his country's most prolific bowler that summer, taking 20 wickets during an intense six-week tournament. He was even entrusted with bowling England's most-important six balls in limited-overs history.

New Zealand required just seven off four to claim the trophy in the final at Lord's. Jimmy Neesham had just hit the second legitimate ball of Archer's Super Over for six, but the bowler held his nerve to run out Martin Guptill following a leg-stump yorker and secure England's first-ever title.

Archer has made his impact known in Test cricket, too. With deliveries reaching speeds of 96mph, he took 22 wickets during his debut Ashes series, including six-fors at Lord's and Headingley.

The fast bowler's rapid rise was rewarded with a Wisden Cricketer of the Year nod in 2020, a year in which he was also named the IPL's Most Valuable Player despite his team, Rajasthan Royals, finishing bottom of the league.

Injuries and operations slowed Archer down but only temporarily, as he returned to international cricket in February 2023 with a bang. His 6-40 in the third match of England's ODI series against South Africa was his best return in the format.
